Absolutely delicious food, lovely staff and in the most charming picturesque setting! Highly recommend. We went there twice during our 2 night stay in Tropea!

Amazing place with a romantic terrace, perfect for a late dinner. It is very fresh so you are not sweating yourself out eating. Food is fantastic, prices are very low for the quality. Gege is the best waiter, makes your stay unforgettable. We paid 65 eur for two people with wine and we were not able to finish everything, left very full 🤣

We’re so happy we found this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious and the prices were the best we’ve come across in the city – we had lasagna, pinsa, and ravioli 😋 The drinks were also very good. Warm greetings from Poland to the very kind, friendly, and helpful staff 🩷

Food was amazing. I wish I could remember the waiters name. He was amazing. Super friendly and was not the typical no personality Italian waiter we came across way too many times over there. Would definitely go out of my way to eat here again.

I’m truthfully not one to write reviews at all, but the dining experience I had at Il Bistrot Calabrese compelled me to get on here and let others know about it. If you are in Tropea, you’d be a fool to not stop into this restaurant. They offer incredible local dishes with impeccable service at prices that cannot be beat. I don’t know when I’ll be back in Tropea, but this is guaranteed to be my first stop the next time I’m back- Servizio

We had a wonderful experience at this charming little bistro. The service was excellent, with genuine attention that made us feel truly welcome. The food was delicious—thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. Prices were more than reasonable, especially considering the quality. It’s a peaceful little corner just steps away from the overcrowded touristy center—a true hidden gem worth discovering.

We had dinner last night and we could not be happier with the food and service we received. The food was delicious. The most delicious we have had in Tropea so far. I wish we found this place earlier we may have come back more often. We will definitely come back one more time before our vacation is over.

Happy hour was amazing, the (not so) small plates of food were full of flavor. Our host Gegge made everything a better experience. Recommend for spritz and snacks to start the night!!

Excellent service, amazing food. My husband had lasagna and I had pizza with seafood and tiramisu for dessert! Very tasty, amazing staff! Thank you, Anas, for serving us and offering the lovely limoncello at the end! Nice place to eat, brilliant atmosphere with old songs playing in the background. Greetings from Romania!

Very good food and excellent service by Anass. Sat upstairs which is open air setting, good vibe. Only wish there was more spice in the primi tomato sauces. Ribs were great.
